(Reuters) – The Labor Day federal holiday on Monday, Sept. 7 will affect the release schedule of some major energy data to be issued during the Sept. 6 week.
Below is the schedule for the release of U.S. petroleum, oil and natural gas supply and inventory for the week.
WEEK OF SEPT 6:
AMERICAN PETROLEUM INSTITUTE – OIL
API’s weekly petroleum stocks report will be delayed to Wednesday, Sept. 9 at 4:30 p.m. EDT (2030 GMT). The report is normally released on Tuesday.
ENERGY INFORMATION ADMINISTRATION – NATURAL GAS
EIA’s weekly natural gas stocks report will be released as usual on Thursday, Sept. 10 at 10:30 a.m. EDT (1430 GMT).
ENERGY INFORMATION ADMINISTRATION – OIL
EIA’s weekly report of crude oil, distillate and gasoline stocks will be delayed to Thursday, Sept. 10 at Noon EDT (1600 GMT). The report is normally released on Wednesday at 10:30 a.m. EDT (1430 GMT).
NOTES:
API delays its Weekly Statistical Bulletin when a federal holiday falls on a Monday or Tuesday. Holidays later in the week do not affect the schedule.
EIA delays its Weekly Petroleum Status Report when a federal holiday falls on Monday, Tuesday or Wednesday.
EIA’s Natural Gas Storage Report schedule (posted at ) is as follows:
Monday or Friday holiday: released Thursday, 1030 ET
Tuesday or Wednesday holiday: released Friday 1030 ET
Thursday holiday: released Wednesday 1200 ET
EIA’s Monthly Petroleum Supply Monthly data is normally released on the last business day of the month.
