About the Harvey Nash/KPMG CIO Survey

In its 22nd year, the 2020 Harvey Nash/KPMG CIO Survey is the largest IT leadership survey in the world in terms of number of respondents. This survey represents the thoughts of 4,219 CIOs and technology leaders. It was first launched in December 2019, before COVID-19 was an issue outside mainland China. In March 2020, we paused the survey after collecting 2,791 responses, then relaunched a new survey that included questions relating to the pandemic, which received a further 1,428 responses, running from May to August.
