From Positioning to Building
In the past twelve months, Canada loaded its first LNG cargo at Kitimat, advanced a federal-Alberta corridor agreement to open a new Pacific export route, and established the Canada Strong Fund, the nation’s first sovereign wealth fund, with a $25 billion federal commitment to co-invest alongside private capital. Enbridge’s $4 billion Sunrise Expansion breaks ground in July, and South Bow has launched an open season on a new Hardisty to Gulf Coast crude pipeline. More than $126 billion in major projects are now formally in motion.
The Global Energy Show Canada Executive Conference convenes at the intersection where political will meets investment capital, and where the financing structures, construction timelines, and international partnerships that will determine Canada’s emergence as a global energy power are worked out. Three days. Premiers, ministers, chief executives, and sovereign buyers. Calgary, the capital of Canadian energy, June 9 to 11.
