Trump Says US Has Taken 50 Million Barrels of Oil Out of Venezuela

(Reuters) – U.S. President Donald Trump said on Tuesday that his administration had taken 50 million barrels of oil out of Venezuela, and was selling some of it in the open market.

“We’ve taken 50 million barrels of oil out of Venezuela in the first four days. We’ve got millions of barrels of oil left. We’re selling it in the open market. We’re bringing down oil prices,” Trump told reporters in a briefing at the White House.
