Lead, South Dakota, July 21, 2021 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) — Dakota Territory Resource Corp (OTCQB: DTRC) (“Dakota Territory” or the “Company”) is pleased to announce that it has closed on substantially all of its previously announced non-brokered private placement (the “Private Placement”). Under the Private Placement the Company issued an aggregate of 11,036,389 shares of common stock of the Company (each a “Common Share”) at a price of $4.50 per Common Share for aggregate gross proceeds of $49,663,750.50. The Common Shares were issued pursuant to an exemption from the registration requirements under the Securities Act of 1933, as amended (the “Securities Act”).

The net proceeds of the Private Placement will be used by Dakota Territory for exploration of its gold properties and general working capital purposes.

The Company anticipates closing a final tranche of the Private Placement on or before July 30, 2021.
