Acero Engineering Inc. (Acero) is pleased to announce that they are now certified and meet all the requirements of ISO 9001:2015, ISO 14001:2015, and ISO 45001:2018 standards.
The certifications demonstrate Acero’s ongoing commitment to the needs of all stakeholders through quality assurance, continuous improvement, consistency, and efficiencies in the areas of QA/QC, Safety and the Environment – fundamental table-stakes to Acero’s modus operandi.
The buck does not stop here however as Acero is well aware that a certification may only be as good as the paper it is written on. Acero now must ensure that the critical tenets of these ISO Certifications are absorbed by all stakeholders so that the incorporation of these values becomes standard operating procedure. That is easier said than done and so we are actively working on engaging staff and stakeholders to become involved, add their opinions, optimize the procedures, templates, and practices to meet the real-world needs of our clients while still living up to the true purpose of the standards.
Acero’s purpose, in fact, its Brand Promise to its clients is that: We Make You Look Good!
In order to do that, we need to do what we said we would do (DWWSWWD); not only applicable to costs, schedule and quality, but also more specifically to ensure that when we say we are ISO compliant, we are living up to those words. Clients engage Acero because they believe that we will do what we said we would do! For possibilities to become realities, the needs of our clients and all stakeholders for that matter, must be respected, and this only comes from the team first making the necessary commitments, and then executing on those commitments. DWWSWWD!
Acero’s commitment is:
- to make its clients look good – by working to schedules, costs and quality standards that have been committed to in the project documentation;
- to respect the environment and include all environmental considerations – by meeting the regulatory / environmental standards of the most strict regime on planet earth and by meeting or exceeding ISO 14001 requirements (not just posting the certificate);
- to respect Quality of documentation and design by meeting the best industry design practices and meeting or exceeding ISO 9001 requirements (not just posting the certificate);
- to respect the Safety of staff, the public and clients by meeting the most stringent safety codes on the planet and meeting or exceeding ISO 45001 (not just…)
The trifecta of the ISO achievements has been a long time coming and we are proud of it, but at the same time, we realize that we’ve made a significant commitment. Now, it’s time we will execute on that commitment!
