LONGi said that the combination of a flat uniaxial tracker with a bifacial module enables the front side of module to continuously track sunlight to realize a power generation gain of more than 15 percent at appropriate latitude and that the rear side of module is able to to make use of the high reflectivity of the desert environment to obtain a power generation gain of more than 10 percent.

In all, said LONGi, there is a power generation gain of more than 25 percent compared with the traditional monofacial module + fixed rack PV system.
