Energy Connect Virtual Conference & Expo
Returns May 21-22, 2019
Featuring Emerging Technologies and Solutions
The Energy Connect Conference & Expo is a two-day virtual conference & trade show dedicated to connecting businesses & energy professionals in the oil and gas industry. During Energy Connect, everything is done virtually, making it one of the most accessible ways to learn, inform, connect, promote & network.
“A rapidly changing business landscape calls for an innovative approach to educating, informing, business development and networking,” says Energy Connect co-creator and CEO, Kelsey Hepples.
“It is becoming increasingly more difficult to dedicate the time it takes to attend the many industry trade shows that take place throughout western Canada and around the globe, that’s why business to business (B2B) buyers now conduct more than two-thirds of their decision making research online (Bain & Company, 2015)” she adds. “That’s why we created Canada’s first virtual conference & trade show experience for the oil and gas industry. The Energy Connect Virtual Conference & Expo is dedicated to creating the most accessible oil and gas events globally.”
Energy Connect 2019 will focus on Emerging Energy Technologies and Solutions. The event’s virtual platform allows attendees and exhibitors to access the show’s virtual reality with just their phone, tablet, laptop or desktop computer.
The Energy Connect recognizes the importance of supporting digital and technological advancements within the rapidly changing energy sector. With half of all oil and gas companies planning to increase investment in digital technologies by at least 30 percent in the next three to five years
“Innovation and technology are transforming the way we design, plan, and manage construction projects, while effectively influencing strategic marketing,” says Laurent Nadeau, Director of Marketing and Communication at DCM Group and Platinum Sponsor of Energy Connect 2019. “Energy Connect’s virtual conference & expo is a perfect example of how maximizing technology can make business development leaner, smarter, and more efficient in the context of our increasingly competitive market.

Our inaugural virtual event in May 2018, with Shell as a leading sponsor, was a major success that brought attendees from across North America and the globe. Our next event in 2019 will be even more interactive.”
