TotalEnergies Port Arthur, Texas, large CDU shut, sources say

In addition to the 150,000-bpd ACU-1 CDU, the 60,000-bpd vacuum distillation unit-2 (VDU-2) was also taken out of production because of the loss of feed to the crude unit.

A TotalEnergies spokesperson did not reply to a request for comment.

ACU-1 and VDU-2 restarted last week after being shut by an Aug. 23 malfunction.
