US oil output rises to highest since April 2020

U.S. oil production rose last week to the highest level since April 2020, Energy Information Administration data showed on Wednesday.

Output rose to 12.2 million barrels per day, EIA said. Meanwhile, East Coast refiner utilization rose to 100.4%, the highest on record, the data showed.
