NEW YORK (Reuters) – U.S. oil output from seven major shale formations is expected to rise by 143,000 barrels a day to 7.47 million barrels per day in August, the U.S. Energy Information Administration said in a monthly report Monday.
Production is expected to rise across all 7 formations, with the largest gain of 73,000 barrels per day seen in the Permian Basin of Texas and New Mexico.
